A monthly meetup at The Lower Case — this is an "unconference", where anyone can bring a new immersive idea they want to try out. Join us the second Wednesday of every month!

(Switched our regular date from the first Wednesday to second Wednesday of the month)

At the beginning, anyone who has playtest in mind will briefly present it, including # of people they need and an estimated duration. Then, we'll split up into our separate groups. At the halfway point, we will take a break and present any new playtests people want to run, or just swap testers.

Anyone who is an immersive creator or willing to provide feedback is welcome to come! Not everyone needs to bring a prepared playtest.

Past Playtest Examples:

• A new way of doing a 1-1 scene

• A mechanic in a group LARP that involves lots of card passing

• Could you do immersive theatre with a camera mounted on an remote control car?

COVID Precautions: This goes without saying, but if you are not sufficiently vaccinated, actively experiencing symptoms or should otherwise be isolating, please do not attend as we want to have people feel safe attending this event. Some people will choose to wear masks at this event, and some will not, and both people should feel comfortable with this choice.
